Replacement Grip

• Function: This is the main grip on your handle—the one that comes with the paddle or racket.

• Thickness: Thicker and more cushioned than overgrips.

• Feel: Often tacky and padded for comfort and shock absorption.

• Installation: Installed directly onto the handle (usually after removing the old one).

• Use case: You replace this when it wears out or if you want to change the feel (thicker, softer, more absorbent, etc.).

Overgrip

• Function: This goes on top of the replacement grip.

• Thickness: Very thin.

• Feel: Designed for sweat absorption, extra tackiness, or added grip texture.

• Installation: Wrapped over your existing grip—easy to put on and take off.

• Use case: You change these often (some players even after every match or session). Great for customizing grip feel without altering size much.
